Datacap Modem Overview

DataTran is a self-contained payment processing device which is designed for all hardware architectures and operating systems. DataTran accepts commands through a serial interface from any type of device or system and can communicate with a processing provider using a variety of communications methods. With its on board modem, it uses phone line (dial up) and with optional external adapters, can use wireless, satellite or Internet connections.

Chose this option to process credit cards through a dial-up telephone connection.

DirecTouch POS Software utilizes a custom programmed modem and credit card software to interface through a dial-up connection to several of the major credit card processors. This quick and easy interface is custom programmed to your restaurant and allows for quick, safe and secure credit card processing.

DirecTouch POS only requires 1 of these modems per system and is not limited to the number of terminals that can access this modem.
