DirecTouch will instantly recall the customer's profile based upon their phone number. Use the optional caller ID hardware and the software will recall the order from the caller ID information.

The last order placed by the customer is displayed on the screen. The operator may chose to start with this last order and add to it or delete it and start fresh. Either way, the order process is quick, easy and secure.

Once the order is ready to delivery, DirecTouch makes the process fast and simple. On the delivery order screen touch the orders to be delivered and then touch the driver dispatch button. Select the driver to dispatch and those orders are now the responsibility of that driver. The time the orders were dispatched is recorded.

Coupons are a huge part of any delivery operation. DirecTouch handles these securely by matching the coupon being redeemed to the items ordered to insure that the proper coupon is being redeemed. Drivers are then responsible for collecting these coupons as they are balanced at the end of the shift exactly like cash. If a coupon is not properly collected then the driver is short at the end of the shift. This completes the cycle of issuing coupons and accounting for them.

The Setup

This feature is automatically turned on when you install the software. 

  1. Enter Security Access Number
  2. Click "Manager Menu"
  3. Click "Register Setup"
  4. Click "Register Options"
  5. Click "Modifiers/Phone Orders/General" tab
  6. In the top center section are the options for delivery and phone orders.
  7. Click "Save"
  8. Click "Exit"
  9. Exit back to sign on screen.
  10. The feature is now enabled and ready to use.
