Changing an Item or Editing a Modifier on DirecTouch DIY Restaurant Point of Sale

It is going to happen.  A server or wait person is going to make a mistake in ringing items.  They are going to need a quick and easy way to correct their mistake without having to delete the order and starting over.  Take a look at how DirecTouch Point of Sale makes it easy to correct this inevitable mistakes.

1. Let's start by ringing in some items with modifiers.
   
2. Select the modifiers from the pop-up modifier list for that item.
   
3. Now that we have a couple of items with modifiers on the ticket we realize that the modifiers rung up on the first item were wrong.  Instead of deleting the item and starting over all we really want to do is correct our mistake with the modifier.  Simply touch "Edit" to begin the process.
   
4. The system will take you right back to the modifiers for that item.  The server can now correct their mistakes.
   
5. It is now that we discover that the main item on the 2nd item is wrong.  Instead of deleting the entire item and starting over all we really want to do is change the main item.  To do this start by touching "Change Item".
   
6. The system will take you to a list of items in the same category as the main item you are trying to change.  Select from the list the item to change to and the system will keep the same modifiers.
   
7. "Done" when complete to send the order and exit the system.
