Table Seating Module | DirecTouch DIY Restaurant Point of Sale
DirecTouch Point of Sale has an optional module that provides an easy way of opening tables, tracking their status and assisting a hostess with seating of your customers.
- You may chose to have the servers begin transactions on this screen, which is the screen they would view if you did not have the Table Seating Module. Here, they touch "Dining Room" to view the tables screen.
- The servers would then select the section they are working.
- This is the table layout screen. You may chose in setup to have your servers come directly to this screen instead of the Server Screen. Colors are used here to visually display the status of the tables. Green numbers means ready, yellow means seated by a hostess but not greeted by a server, blue means that there is an open check for that table, red means that the service on this table is slower than the standard set by management and purple means that the check has been presented to the guest.
- The total guest count is shown for management purposes.
- The table number and number of minutes that the check has been open are displayed for every table.
- Management may also view the status report for the entire operation.
- This report shows the status for each open table including the total time open, server name, check total and average per person. You can also see how many checks have been presented for payment, thereby letting you know how many tables are about to become available.
- You can also see how many guests have been seated by the hostess and not approached by a server.
- You can see how many tables have already ordered food.
- You can also see how many tables are ready for guests to be seated.
- You also have the option in setup to prevent servers from seeing other servers tables displayed on the Table Layout Screen.
- When the server signs on they only see the tables assigned to them.
