Modifying The Table Layout | DirecTouch DIY Restaurant Point of Sale

If you have the optional Table Seating Module you will be able to create, modify and change the table layout for your restaurant.  These are the steps involved.

  1. Start by entering the "Edit Section", which is restricted by security access.

  2. Pull up the section name.  You may have multiple sections for your operation.  These can be bar, patio, main dining, etc.

  3. Once you pull up the section you want to work on you may pull up a list of available table bitmaps.

  4. Chose from this list the bitmap that best suits the table you want to add.  The one is this picture is for a booth.

  5. This bitmap is for a 2-top table.  Once you have chosen the one you want you should give it a name or number by which it will be recognized by the servers.

  6. Once you touch "Done" the bitmap appears on the screen.  Drag the bitmap to the location it should reside.

  7. You may also chose different backgrounds or "flooring".

  8. Pick from a list the one that best suits your application.

  9. "Exit" when done.
