Setting Up the Frequent Diner Module | DirecTouch DIY Restaurant Point of Sale

With the addition of the the Frequent Diner module you will be able to better track the buying habits of your guests, reward their repeat business and market directly to them. Here are some of the steps to set up the Frequent Diner module.

Begin with entering the "Managers Menu". This area is password protected and access is restricted through security levels.
Go to "Discount/Gratuity Maintenance".
Give the Frequent Diner reward plan a name. Make it something that you will easily recognize such as "Buy 4 Apps Get 1 Free".
Chose the type of plan from the drop down list. This can be a % or $ discount/reward.
You do have a choice of when this discount can be applied. You also set up which items this reward will apply to. You can make a reward for a free dessert for purchasing a set number of entree's.
You may also chose the time of day this reward is available. Want to push your lunch menu? Give a lunch reward for dining at night.
Now go to the "Frequent Diner" area to set up the plan.
Go to "Plan Maintenance".
Name the plan and select the reward that you previously created.
Is the plan based upon a point system or on the dollars spent?
Enter the number of points or dollars required to achieve the reward.
After setting up the plan you then add the plan to your customers in the database.
Each customer has their own file with their personal information. Select the customer and add the reward plan to their file. They are now a member of that plan and will have their sales monitored and rewarded by the system.
