Setting Up a Back Office on DirecTouch DIY Restaurant Point of Sale

Even though not required for many systems some owners would like to have a dedicated back office computer in the network.  In those case, we have a special screen that can be turned on to allow for easier and quicker access to the back office functions.  Here is how you turn it on.

  1. Begin with entering the "Managers Menu".  This area is password protected and access is restricted through security levels.

  2. Go to "Register Setup".

  3. Go to "Register Options".

  4. Go to "License/Menu/Credit Card" tab.

  5. Select either :Full Service Back Office" or "Quick Service Back Office" depending on your type of operation.

  6. When you sign back on with your manager level access code you will see a new screen.

  7. This screen bypasses the need to enter a sale screen in order to get to the "Managers Menu".
