How To Ring An Express Order on DirecTouch DIY Restaurant Point of Sale

Sometimes you just need to ring a quick order without opening a tab or table.  DirecTouch Point of Sale has a feature called "Express Order" that allows for just that.  Take a moment to take a look.  Click on "Watch a Flash Movie" or scroll down the page to read about the feature.

  1. Start by touching the "Express Order" button.

  2. The server, cashier or bartender will then select the category for the item to be rung.

  3. Then touch the item to be rung.

  4. Once the order is complete, simply touch the "Tender" button to begin closing the order.

  5. The standard Tender screen will display for the operator to close out the order normally.

  6. Once tendered, the "Change Due" screen will display for cash orders.
