Daily Sales Summary Report

This report is one of the most powerful and unique reports available from any point of sale system.  This report has many features not initially obvious and must be experienced to fully appreciate.

  1. Begin by entering the "Managers Menu".  This area has restricted access based upon security levels.

  2. Next, go to  "Reports Menu".

  3. Go to "Daily Sales Summary".

  4. Sales totals that are normally shown for the daily closeout are displayed for an entire week.  Using the drop down box, you can select any time period since your DirecTouch Point of Sale system has been installed.

  5. To view the details for a field move your mouse to the field and "Right-click" the mouse.

  6. If there is detail to be displayed for that field you will get a pop-up box with the additional information.

  7. If you "Right-click" a date across the top you can then compare any two days in the historical database.  This could be this year vs. last year or today vs. last week.

  8. Dollar and percent increases/decreases are shown for each line item.  As with all DirecTouch Point of Sale reports you have the option to print this report.
