Phone Orders | Delivery Orders | Pizza Point of Sale

DirecTouch Point of Sale has a great feature that helps taking phone orders quick and easy.  The system will keep customer's information in the system and even recall the customer's previous order to help speed up the ordering process.

  1. Start by touching the "Phone Order" button.

  2. Enter the customer's phone number.  If you don't have a standard keyboard attached you can use the system generated keyboard.

  3. Enter the customer's phone number.

  4. "Done" when complete.

  5. If this is the first time this customer has called the operator will be prompted to enter some basic information about the customer.

  6. If you like, you may enter a pickup time.

  7. If this order is far enough in advance, you may even enter a pickup DATE.

  8. You may type any special instructions for this customer in this area.

  9. Once their information is entered the operator may begin taking their order.

  10. If your customer has bought from you before, when their phone number is entered their file is recalled by the system.

  11. Once the customer is verified their previous order is displayed.  The operator may select from these items and/or continue placing the order from the main item screens.

  12. If the customer wants to pick from their previous order the operator will touch the item they want to repeat and...

  13. Touch "Accept" to ring up that item.

  14. The operator may also add to this order from the main item screens.

  15. The operator may look at all open phone orders by touching "Access "Phone Orders".

  16. The operator may sort the open orders in various ways in order to find the one they want.

  17. By touching the customer name the operator can verify the customer information.

  18. The operator closes and tenders the check by touching "Tender Order" , which recalls the check.

  19. The operator then closes the check as normal.
