Messages Menu | Employee Messages

The bottom right portion of the sign on screen is dynamic and changes during the day according to what management has programmed.  DirecTouch Point of Sale makes it easy to communicate with your servers, hostesses and other employees through the use of this area.

  1. Take advantage of DirecTouch's messaging area and teach your employees to look here for current restaurant information.

  2. To set up message go to "Manager Menu".  Remember, this are is restricted with security levels.

  3. Go to "Messages Menu".

  4. Chose which message you want to set up.

  5. Type the message you wish to display.

  6. On the bottom right you have a drop-down menu to select the day of the week to display this message.  "Save" and "Exit" when done.

  7. You may also program a customized receipt message.  This too can change by day of the week.

  8. In the same manner you can also program a 2 line message for your pole display.  (If you have one.)

  9. "Exit" when done.
