Merge Tables | Table Service Point of Sale

In many restaurants when a customer wants to pick up someone else's tab it is a matter of getting out the calculator and trying to accurate figure out the bill.  Items get left off tickets and the servers have to go through so many additional steps that the process is often frowned upon.  DirecTouch Point of Sale has a simple, quick and easy process to join tables/checks/tabs into a single presentable guest check.

1. The server goes to the screen that shows all their open tables/checks/tabs.  They then touch "Merge Tables".
   
2. Next, they will touch the table/check/tab that wants to have the check added to it.
   
3. The server then touches the table/check/tab to add.  The system prompts the server to make sure that they want to combine the tables/checks/tabs together.  "Yes" to proceed.
   
4. The server can now open the table and proceed as normal.  The guest can continue to add to their check and close when ready.
