Menu Modifiers From DirecTouch DIY Restaurant Point of Sale

When there are choices for an item, you need menu modifiers.  When there are preparation instructions for an item, you need menu modifiers.  When there are additional items to be added to a main item, you need menu modifiers.  Here is how you set up menu modifiers and link them to an item.

  1. Start by going into "Managers Menu".  Remember, this area is restricted by security levels.

  2. Go to "Menu Maintenance".

  3. Then go to "Menu Modifiers".

  4. Give the modifier group a name.  You also chose some of the options for the group such as print in color, roll up the price into the main item price as well as list the items that make up this group.  You will also chose the minimum number of choices for this group and the maximum number of choices before the customer is charged an extra price.

  5. "Save" when done.

  6. When you have set up the modifier screens you can then attach them to items.
