Employee Time Clock Feature

Don't buy an expensive time clock and don't rely on someone to write down their time.  Use the DirecTouch Point of Sale time clock feature to track employee punches in/out and to accurately report on all employee's time clock and payroll data.  DirecTouch Point of Sale can export this data for QuickBooks, in a printed format or on disk for your payroll company.

1. The employee will use this button to clock in/out.  This button is found on every terminal, therefore any employee use any terminal to clock in/out.  They simply enter their employee number and touch this button.
   
2. The system will look up their time clock file.  If the employee is allowed multiple job codes a list of available job codes will display for them to chose.
   
3. If the employee is to clock out for a break, they would enter their number and touch this button.
   
4. The system would look up their employee time clock file and then the employee would touch "Break Out".
   
5. The employee would repeat the process to come back from a break.
   
6. At the end of the shift the employee would enter their number (or swipe their magnetic card if that feature is used) and touch "In/Out".
   
7. They would touch "Punch Out" to end their shift.
   
8. If the employee is a tipped employee a pop-up box will appear requiring them to declare their tips for the day.
   
9. This is an example of an employee time clock record with multiple days worked.
