Adding or Editing an Employee for the Time Clock

DirecTouch Point of Sale has a time clock feature that many customers use to track employee punches in/out for payroll purposes.  Before using this feature the employees must be added to the employee database.  This tutorial shows  you how easy this is.

  1. Start by entering the Managers Menu.  Remember, this area is restricted by security level clearance.

  2. Go to "Employee Maintenance".

  3. Enter the basic employee information into the database.

  4. Select the security level for this employee.

  5. "Save when complete.

  6. Use the other tabs to set additional payroll information such as job codes and pay rates for those job codes.

  7. Other tabs are provided for additional Human Resource functions.

  8. "Save" and "Exit" when done.  The employee is now ready to use the time clock feature.

  9. If you ever wish to change the security level for an employee you will come back here and select "Change Access".
